In November 2009, Tim Easton toured The Netherlands with Tim Knol-drummer Kees Schaper on drums. He played a support show for Anne Soldaat at Tivoli de Helling in Utrecht, when I asked him to record a session with his favourite songs just before the doors of the venue were opened. He covered JP Olsen, Townes van Zandt and Freedy Johnston.
The Horse Company is a Dutch band from Zwolle that's spreading it's name throughout the country. When their album 'Olympus' finally made it's way to me last summer, it was an instant hit. No wonder this fall I got singer Arjen and guitarist Vincent Hilberdink (brothers) to record a session.
